Mr. Fran Sillau from The Rose Theatre came to the classroom for the Every Single Child Program. The fifth grade students developed a deeper understanding of the Revolutionary War through the art of acting.

Cheyenne had her picture taken during this activity with Mr. Sillau. The activity was "This isn't just a scarf."

Seamus is smiling because he won this fancy fireman helmet in a game of hot smoke alarm. The firefighters came for an informative and fun assembly about fire prevention on March 16.

Mrs. Sgroi from Duchesne came to read to the students on Friday, March 11. Nathan is pictured with Mrs. Sgroi after listening and discussing two books.

The students made a group statue of what happened at Valley Forge after discussion about the hardships and starvation.

How could I NOT include this picture of Nyasibit? She also participated in a game with the firefighters during assembly on the 16th. She and four others were a family that had to get out of a house quickly and safely. It was funny to see the four children with the wigs and glasses, army-crawling across the floor!
